A ‘thank you’ “International Women’s Day—a time to celebrate the strength, achievements, and resilience of women. But today, I want to acknowledge something just as important: balance. Because to get to where I am, both personally and professionally, I’ve been supported not just by incredible women but also by some truly inspirational men most notably my Grandfather Joseph Hardy, a miner from the north east of England who many of you know is not only the name of my company but has his ethos and ethics woven though it.

A more equitable world isn’t just about uplifting one side—it’s about mutual respect, collaboration, and recognising the value of both the feminine and the masculine. We need both. Strength and sensitivity. Logic and intuition. Vision and grounding. It’s not about division; it’s about working together to create something greater.

So today, I celebrate the men who champion women, the women who champion men, and the understanding that true progress happens when we stand side by side. Let’s honour both energies, not just on one day but every day, as we shape a future built on respect, support, and balance.
